Selecting a date requests a hold, it is not a confirmed booking until we come back to you. Summer pours start early — flag it here and we roster it properly. We use these details to price your job. We do not sell them on.

03 / The complete operation

From pump to finish.

Most sites juggle a concreting crew and a pumping contractor who have never worked together. We run both. Adelaide Custom Concrete places and finishes, Purely Pumping moves the mix — booked, scheduled and invoiced as one job.

Foundations
04 / Foundations

From earthworks to finish.

Foundations are the bulk of what we do. We organise the earthworks and civil works too — dig outs, full house preps, the ground ready to pour on — then pump it, place it and trowel it off. Four trades' worth of coordination, booked as one job.

05 / How a foundation runs

Earthworks. Pour.
Pump. Finish.

Four stages, and every one of them is ours. Nobody hands you back to a different contractor halfway through, and nobody blames the last bloke when something slips.

01

Earthworks

Dig outs, site cut and full house preps. We get the ground to level, set the footings and trenches, and have it ready for steel.

02

Pour

We coordinate the timing with your batching plant so trucks are not sitting on your site waiting, and the pour runs continuously.

03

Pump

Three boom pumps — two at 36 metres and a 17 metre for tight set-ups — plus the 2024 Zoomlion line pump, all ours, all with our own licensed operators. Over a fence, up a level or into a tight rear yard.

04

Finish

Screeded to level, then power floated and burnished off the helicopter. Levels, falls and surface class to the drawing.

What you get in a foundation quote

Send us your plans.

We will organise a quote inclusive of the lot, so you are not chasing four separate prices and trying to make them line up.

Your quote covers
  • Earthworks
  • Steel supply
  • Concrete supply
  • Concrete pump

You will receive a full cost estimate, and we can schedule your concrete from there.

Place
06 / The pour

Place it.

Our crew, working to survey marks, not to eye. Screed, level and finish to the spec on the drawing — warehouse floors, suspended slabs, tilt panel beds, power float and burnished finishes.

07 / The finish

Finish it.

Power floated and burnished off the helicopter, long after the trucks have gone home. This is the part the client actually walks on, and it is the part that gets signed off — so it is the part we stay for.

If the truck can reverse in close and the pour is at ground level, the line pump is cheaper and usually enough. We will tell you when the cheaper option will do.

11 / Coverage

Adelaide,
and out past it.

Metro work is our bread and butter. Regional jobs are fine, we just need a bit more notice to move the pump and price the travel honestly.

12 / Questions

The things builders
actually ask.

Do you supply the concrete, or just place it?

We place and pump. Supply is normally booked through your batching plant and we coordinate the timing with them so trucks are not sitting on your site. If you would rather deal with one contractor, we can arrange supply as well — just say so on the enquiry.

Line pump or boom pump, which do I need?

If the truck can reverse in close and the pour is at ground level, our 2024 Zoomlion 100R line pump is cheaper and usually enough. If you are going over a fence, up a level, across a slab or into a tight rear yard, you want a boom — we run two 36 metre booms and a 17 metre for sites with no room to set up. Send us the access details and we will tell you which one the job needs — and we will tell you if the cheaper option will do.

How far ahead do I need to book a pour?

As much notice as you can give us, especially through the busy months. That said, programs move and we know it. Ring us for short notice work — we hold capacity for regular trade clients and we will tell you straight away whether we can cover it.

What do you need from me to put a price together?

Plans or a site sketch, the pour volume or slab dimensions, the finish you need, access details and your target date. That is enough for a written price. If something is still moving, tell us what is uncertain and we will quote it with the assumption written on the page so there are no arguments later.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we are licensed and insured. We carry public liability and workers compensation, and we hold SWMS, risk assessments, a Safe Work SA certificate, twelve monthly plant inspections and all required documents for inductions. Certificates of currency go straight to your office before we set foot on site.

Do you do early starts and weekend pours?

Yes, of course we do, for both. We start as early as you need and we stay as long as you need. Early starts are standard through summer anyway, because pouring in the heat of an Adelaide afternoon is how you get a bad slab. Flag it on the enquiry so we can roster it properly.

Will you pump for my own concreting crew?

Yes, plenty of our work is pump only for concreters who place their own. You get the pump and a licensed operator, you run the pour. Book it the same way — just choose Pump only.
